A New Toy To Play With…

A few months back, I was able to purchase a Mamiya RB67 from Armatos Pro Video thru Ebay, for a reasonable price. I didn’t intend to purchase the camera, I just wanted to try bidding in Ebay. I placed my bid…fortunate enough…no body else placed their bid in this item. And now I’m a proud owner of this humongous camera.

It took me sometime to take the camera out for a test run. I was lazy at the same time busy with some other stuff (work, freelancing stuff etc.). Anyway here are the test shots. They were scanned from the contact sheet, so I apologize for the quality and the dirt on the images.

First roll of neopan across 100. My very first try…that’s why I was only able to get three. I accidentally exposed some of the frames when I removed the back without the dark slide attached to it.

The second roll of neopan 100. A more successful roll with more decent images I suppose.

And that’s about it. I really love the camera. It’s AWESOME! I really don’t mind the weight (it’s a heavy camera…and I mean heavy), I just love using it. I’ll be shooting more frames with this one. That would be all!
