Hitana + Mag:Net Snaps

I’ve been playing bass for a band called Hitana for quite sometime now. I love the energy of the group when performing live or even during rehearsals and jam sessions. It’s such an awesome experience having to play with these guys.

BTW, Hitana is Myke Guiterez on vocals, Dave Reyes on guitars, Teddy Vesagas on keyboards, Mathew Wong (your’s truly) on bass, and Pierre Ascuncion on drums. As a far as what music or what type of music we play…well…you could just check out some of our vids here.

The guys below are Buks and Marc. Buks is Dave’s cousin, while Marc is his brother. Not really “band members”, but still member of the Hitana crew.

Here are some snaps from our Mag:Net Katipunan gigs….pre-performance snaps.

We had a gig last August 18 in Mag:Net Highstreet. I wasn’t able to get that many photos…in fact I barely took photos during that gig. But I did manage to snap a few decent ones though.

This guy right here is an amazing musician. His name is Joniver and his set is incredible! He plays mostly the blues and does covers of John Mayer songs…and he really really does a great job in covering his songs. If you haven’t seen him perform, you should go check him out! I think he plays regularly in Mag:Net Highstreet’s acoustic hour (8:00 – 9:00 PM) during Saturdays. Or you may check out his stuff here.

Another awesome band that performed that night…Maya’s Anklet. I really love the stuff they play.
